Has anybody ever used Tubex on trees? They say it can increase seedling growth by as much as 5 to 10X and cut down on the number of seedlings that die.

OIKOS has them but they are not cheap!
$1.85 each for 2 footers if you buy 50
$3.35 each for 5 footers if you buy 50
I am looking for a cheaper source.

I use cut sections of quality grade poly construction snow fence for animal guards . Will that meet your requirements ???

What I was really interrested in is the increase in growth rate. 5 to 10x faster is hard to beleive...

I also find it hard to beleive ; vigour alone can vary that much between plants . Probably greenhouse grade poly would perform the same sheltering purpose ???
