Seed snatching at its finest :)

Dillonvale, OH(Zone 6a)

Here is my haul from today...... I had to go up to a friends house this afternoon, and saw these awesome Morning glories growing at an abondoned trailer. I filled a tissue box and a small "peeps" box, and didn't have room for anymore...... going back tomorrow to get pictures and more seeds

What a seedcollection you got there. You must put those photos up

Looks good! Crush them around and then lightly blow away the husks until all you have left are seeds! The unripe seeds will ripen if you leave some stem on them until they are dry then remove it and crush the husk away. Also you can use a hair drier on low setting and use a deep bowl and watch it doesn't blow particles into your eyes. Just thought I'd ad my two cents in here because I've been doing this procedure with our seeds all month......good job on the gathering of I. purpurea seeds you've done BTW are there any white or cream colored seeds in there? It was hard to tell from the photos. Were these purple flowers? or light blue?
