I think next year I am going to try pinching this one back. This year, it has gotten to be about 10 feet tall. II cant even enjoy the blooms because they are all way up there.

sorry that you cant enjoy those beautifull flowers. How tall can they get.
Janett
I think about 115 feet tall. My ipomoea carnea/fistulosa has to be at least 10 feet tall and perhaps taller. Next year I will try pinching it and see if I can make it bushier and shorter so I can enjoy the blooms. Last year it didnt get as tall. I died down for the winter and then came back taller than ever.
you meant to say 15 tall or ? lol. does it go totally dormant or is it desious. darn hard when one doesnt know the proper words in english.grrrrr
Janett
Oooops, yea, 15 feet. Mine dies down to the ground but then comes back in the spring. Anyhow, the flowers are very pretty and last all day. I would really like to enjoy them closer to the ground.
ROTFLOL but what a beauty it would have been, covered with all those big flower. That would be a stairway to heaven :0)
Janett
You should have gotten your ladder out...lol. They are so pretty! I was hoping to see the blooms on mine but I had to move it into the house before I lost it and then all the buds fell off.
