My daughter beat me to the seed pods today.

JennaRose is 6, and she loves to "help' mommy. I told her we would be collecting seeds today, but I had intended for her to pick up the 4:00 seeds. She chose to pick the ever-so-carefully-labled "Chocolate' and "Picotee Blue" pods instead. Is there ANY way on this green Earth to tell these seeds apart? Or do I just plant them all next year and start over, lol?

Unless there is someone who would like the opportunity to gamble?

This is how they were planted together in a container on my deck.

Dont you just love it when they get in that "helpfull" mood. Remember when my oldest daughter did it.
It was the 23 Dec "some" years ago and I went to bed after christmascleaning the whole house, I mean walls door/posts cubbords everything. The little "darling" had learned that if she turn off the alarmclock she could do MANY things without mommy stopping her.
This morning she desided to make some christmas baking for mommy. She took everything in the cubbord and mixed it together and she did not forget to put in bakingpowder and cocoa powder in it. besides to put this mess in the bakingform she also had enough to paint the walls, cubborddoors, floor yes everywhere. luckely she forgot to turn on the stove!!
But this mix started to "boil" on its own leaving a cementlike DARKBROWN cover all over the place. THEN she woke me up.
Do you think she put a smile on mummys face cus she been a good girl. Today I can laught about it but then............. She is still alive :0)

Some days they just don't know how good a form of Birth Control they are, do they?

I was so looking forward to having these seeds to trade, lol. Ah well. I'm hoping some of the still labled vines will have a few pods that I can get to before she does. They are still blooming, but are much smaller now.

It only took me two years to "get over" it lol

...are the seeds all the same size? For some reason I thought Picotee seeds are smaller. Just a guess!

Oh seedsower, good thought! Maybe I can compare the ones I have to the ones in the pods still ripening on the vines. Maybe all the ones she picked were one type! Hmmm...The "Chocolate" bloomed first, and the "Picotee" is lower on the trellis.

I'll go out and look again in the am.

mg,
I agree with Sandy that your Picotee Blues should be smaller than the I. nils, but the bad news is they look very similar.
