I have to agree with you there, it's my favorite also. There are at least 10 blooms at a time each day on this one here and it has been blooming for weeks. I love that collage..

Ronnie,

That is a cool collage of JC pictures! I especially liked the one that is in the top row middle, which had the reddish purple spots. Awesome!!

Joyce Cobb...cool! She is a blues singer here in Memphis that used to have a club on Beale Street. I love watching here strut her stuff and hear belt out the blues. Very pretty flower, I can see why you like it.

Wow, shadowgirl, it is cool to have some sort of etymology to this cultivar name.

Wow! Great pic! I've been looking for 'Joyce Cobb' seeds! I know this thread is a couple of months old, but any chance you still have some seeds? Denise

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Denise I probably have a few to spare.

Oh, that's great! I don't know if you would be interested in anything on my trade list, but check it out. I can d-mail you my address if you have the extra seeds. Let me know what you want to do. Thank you...Denise

I was told awhile back that the darker sport of the flower is called 'Rebecca'. I posted it in the PF files as such. What I would like to find is the very light sport of 'Joyce Cobb' that has the reddish dots on the outside of the petals, almost like 'Milky Way', but not rayed.
