I know...

Vieques, PR(Zone 11)

Yeah Sir Buckley, hubby wants to remind you I am "Lady Karen".

Now bow.......

Leesburg, VA(Zone 7a)

Woah .... "bow now"? This is getting a little racey! I think Dave might can my account again if I elaborated on the humorous mental imagine I got when I read that! :o)~

Good luck there, Mistress ... er, Lady Karen!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Love that doggie picture Dravencat. That ear is just so pretty i tneeds a guard dog. LOL. I be tno one dares go near it..

WOW Susie, you sure have a great inventory of ears. I am so impressed.

Vieques, PR(Zone 11)

Sir Buck,

Hubby says that Dave needs to have an open mind. LOL

Just kidding.

Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

LOL Sir Buckley and Lady Karen, sech high and Lawfty titles. A little redneck like me just cant compete, LOL. Mistress Karen maybe Master Buckley's mind goes a little lower than his title lets on, LOL. Now I aint saying thats bad cuz I can understand what he was alluding too so how low does mine go, heehee.

Anyway....
Karen of my measley collection what would you like?

Cala, I am bowing to you and your very very impressive collection. I knew I didnt have much but WOW. I have a Mickey Mouse and a Plumbea Nigra too but they are just babies just got so didnt go on my list. Im waiting on an African Mask from another DGer but shes really busy right now and Id rather her get her stuff done before I start whining,LOL. The dog is the biggest baby you'd ever want to meet and does more damage with his paws on your feet and slobbering on you than anything else, LOL. I think the neighbors are more afraid of me than the dog if anyone touches my plants.

Vieques, PR(Zone 11)

Draven,

Anything you choose to send is fine. I will leave that up to you.

As for your secret visit?

It is Sherman's Marina on Deale Road at Rockhold Creek. The owner is Frank Sherman, a great Irish guy that always has a smile on his face.

Sometimes when you meet someone you know they are someone that will remain in your life forever? That is Frank.

We may be miles away but he is in our hearts forever.

By the way, he makes a mean Margarita.

I am searching through my photos to send you one of him. I'll have to wait fro hubby to get back from the PO to show me which file.

Maybe there will be plants there :))

Holy butt nuggets, Batman, that package from Puerto Rico got here FAST! And, I might add, with a rather pleasant surprise ... a little brown hatchling of a lizard. Now I'm off to the pet store to see if I can acquire a fruit fly culture. Doesn't make up for my AWOL iguanas, but this littel guy is WAY cool!!!!

He's "Dope!" in the parlance of our times. (or at least that's what I hear today's youngsters saying :o)

Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

HEY I WANT ONE TOO!!! That is way too cool! I need tree frogs!! Ive got the tank set up and my one gecco is lonely. heehee.

Sir Buck can ya get a pic of the little guy?

Vieques, PR(Zone 11)

Sir Buck,

you caught us. We thought we could infest your place with them. lol

Was there really a lizard there?

(hubby is running around the house looking for his pet lizard, Isabella)

Oops.

Draven,

If you are a frog nut count me in. This little guy hopped off of my shoulder the other night and ran into the bathroom. (hey I was watching tv minding my own business)

It is called a Coqui frog that sings at night. Some go "Ko-kee" while others chirp. When it rains it sound like we live at a symphony. They are about 1", tiny little things.

Don't ask me how it got on my shoulder....I have no clue. I did feel him leave though.

ooohhhh hes beautiful!! When I visited Florida I loved seeing all the tree frogs everywhere, that was neater than seeing crystal clear water intstead of the mucky stuff here in the chesapeake.

Vieques, PR(Zone 11)

Ahhhh, but to go to sleep listening them sing would melt your heart away....

Leesburg, VA(Zone 7a)

Well .... Isabella has a new name: it's Rico! :o)

No luck on fruit frlies until tomorrow, but he (she?) jumped on the water straight away!

Thanks again, that was the best bonus "plant" yet! (talk about carniverous plants!!!)

Mama asked for your address and Sir Buck, she hissed at me and I had to give it up :((((

May you rest in peace.

now THAT is a nice Iguana!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

Karen I printed this thread out and printed an extra of the pic. Ill probrably go over on monday cuz im gonna be busy taking an engine out of a truck this weekend with DH. Is he usualy home during the day? I wont forget the big kiss but its gonna be on the cheek, heehee.

Vieques, PR(Zone 11)

Frank does stay home most of the time with the exception of a Dr's apt, but that is rare. He can be found putzing arround the marina constantly fixing something :)

He naps generally from 1-3 pm but is always up in time for happy hour on the deck.

If you get a chance to print this let him know we keep Deale close to our hearts.

Thanks again for everything. I will get a plant out to you on monday.

Are you kidding, stuff like this is fun as all get out. Im really looking forward to seeing his face when all hes looking at is a stranger and then he finds out about you and sees how we know each other and then gets a big ol' smacker on the cheek from somene he dosnt even know. This is going to be so cool.

Vieques, PR(Zone 11)

Thanks, you are great.

That's a cute little lizard!

Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

Do I get one of those too?

Vieques, PR(Zone 11)

Draven,

Sir Buck does not know what he has gotten himself into. It will find another counterpart somewhere and before long the lizards will take over. lol.

I am just amazed the little guy lived. And no Draven, you won't get one unless it crawls in the box like this little critter before I seal it.

Keep up the progress reports on the little guy Sir Buck. Have you named him yet?

Karen

Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

Just kidding hun, Im surprised he made it too. Just dont send me ANY spiders and its all good, LOL.

Leesburg, VA(Zone 7a)

Yeah, his name is Rico. :o)
