I have a Butterfly vine that is blooming now. I want to know how to collect seeds pods. Is there anyway that i can start a butterfly vine from seed to grow? I see seeds or pods forming on my vine. Do i snap them off to start growing. Im new to this. I will plant this in containers. Please explain!!! zone 8b.

I had a large beautiful butterfly vine for many years before I moved. The seed pods look like "butterflies". They start out a green, then they turn brown. The tiny seed is in the "body" of the butterfly. Wait til they turn brown and then de-seed them. My next door neighbor was able to plant some seed from mine and had her vines start ! I saved some seeds, but havent as yet planted mine. I love this vine ! I hope this helps.
