I recently rescued a female kitty who had been living outside at my parents house. I have taken her to the vet to have her shots and health checked out and all was well. She is not spayed and I want to get her spayed as soon as I can but I don't want her to feel like she is going to the vet every week either. How long would you wait to take her in for the procedure? My vet suggested 2-3 weeks. I don't know if I should follow his advise or if I should just wait until I think she is really comfortable here. I guess I shouldn't worry too much she has only been inside 9 days and doesn't even act like she wants out at this point. I just don't want to run into a situation where she does get out and ends up pregnant. Any opinions?
