Is there anything you can't do with brugs Monika? WOW!

Your flowers are so rich in color and I love those doubles and triples but my favorite is Bolero because the .... top part of the flower (don't know the name for that) is so slender and tight and then the bottom is such a full skirt. Reminds me of a gorgeous cocktail dress.

If you ever wanna test that one here in the USA, try me here in Maryland! Lol.

Monika, As always, your brugs are so pretty. Thanks for sharing your pictures. Cindy

I am glad, you all have liked the pictures. The garden is now almost empty. I can't believe, that summer is already over. This year, he was too short.

Vancouver, WA(Zone 8b)

Rosenwalzer, Ruby Lady and Blütenzauber Rosenwalzer has many triple flowers.

When I read the above in one of Monikas post, I had to re-read it. I am such a newbie to brugs (bought my first 4 this year) that I have never seen a triple.....WOW!!! And such a gorgeous color, and the tendrils....these plants are simply hard to beat for pure beauty of the flowers.....AMAZING!!! Hopefully one of mine will actually *bloom* next year.

I hadn't seen this beautiful thread, because I wasn't around much at that time. I'm trying to get back into the hang of things, but know that isn't possible at this time and just come in once in awhile to make a quick visit, or check out my favorite forum, Brugmansia, which I did tonight.

Monika - don't go away! Enjoy your winter, but please don't put yourself away with your brugs. We enjoy your input (many many of us do). I have things outside I need to tucker tomorrow. Not the funnest thing to do in the world. But from the date of that first post, perhaps you are done and laughing that I have to do mine in the morning, lol.

Take Care Monika.

Karrie, I always try to see the nice sides of the winter but it is not easy. The brugs are in the winterquarter for more than eight months now. Its a long time. I saved a few buds to enjoy in the evening the fragrance of the flowers in the winterhouse, which is attached to our house.

Thank you Michael.

I hate to think of winter coming so soon. I started bringing in the seedlings today that haven't flowered. The big brugs will be fine for a while.

Your season is so short Monika. But look what you manage to do in such a short season. Just think if you had a longer season. It would be even more incredible. Great pictures.

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

Monica, which ones of these are available in the U.S?

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

The one named after your Mom is lovely. For some reason I love the ones that evoke memories of special times and people the best.
