San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh shoot Hap. If I start running now I may make Florida next year. You lucky duck. Which one did they get in?? I am in love with the red one.

Seeds are ready. Forget the jewel case...too narrow. I will send the seeds in a baggy. When you get them, I suggest to smear them on some damp spagnum, keep warm and in the shade. One I planted like that and then put in the crotch of a tree is starting to bloom.

Carol,

Went and looked my seeds today. They are just pink and then drop off. Are they suppose to get like a berry?

The seed pods look like a cluster of grapes...sort of a light mauve/blue...just berries. Then these seeds turn a deep DEEP dark blue/purple and are soft. They are ripe then. Perhaps you need to water them more...this plant needs tons of water!!!!

Sure come for a visit. I moved my plant more under the light and just started to water more. A few leaves have been dropping off. I sure don't want to lose it.
