Oooh - I really like this one very much. Am thinking it would make a lovely splash of color - perhaps behind some statuary - in my currently-in-planning-stage "Gothic Garden". . . . .
I am amazed by all the possitive feed back on this plant. Unfortunatly no talkes of sales or such can be posted on the forms. So I am not ignoring you just trying to follow the rules. I really like the name passion for this plant I will have to look into that name more and see what has been used. Thanks

Wow Brian, I think you really have a winner here! Congratulations! That flower is a real beauty and very, very unique with the geometric nature of the striping/dots on the petals and the contrasting margin. Of course you can't go wrong with the richly colored foliage either. What ever you end up naming it I think it will be mainly because of the flower and will quickly be added to my to buy list. Out of curiousity how tall does it get?
It seems to be a fairly short one. Only getting about 3 to 4 ft tall. I does selfclean but I really like how much higher the flowers are than the foliage they really stand out over top of it. I have made some nice odd unique forms but as far as all around best this one will have to take the cake. It does everything you would want a canna to do and it does it very well. I consider it a bit of a showoff.
I think "Queen Mums Hot Pants" makes it regal and zesty all in one! Fabulous work Brian, and anxiously awaiting the day we can all get one!!
All I can say is WOW and I want one !!!! That is one gorgeous Canna. Great job....so beautiful...and you know...THEY grow great here in sunny Myrtle Beach :))) Do you need a "tester"? (lol)
