Tobihino in "RED"

I haven't been able to capture the true red look to this bloom for awhile, finally today I got one of the best shots showing it's true red in color :) Definitely NOT what the packet indicated.

You mean an actual true red? I don't know how many times last year we bought seed advertised as red only to get pink flowers! Good for you! You got yourself a rare one. :~)

Well it is as red as I have ever seen, much more so than say Crimson Rambler, Wine & Roses, etc. This is red in my book!

I just planted the seeds Emma, but its a stunning color, I planted 3 or 4 seeds out of that Tobihino package, and get this: so far all 3 are different!!! one is RED, one is PURPLE and the other I call DUSTY like chocolate!!!

Here is the purple, it has some reddish streaks thru it

and here is the Dusty Mauve or Rose or Chocolate, which do you think best describes this color?? Because I am keeping them seperate and marking them: Tobihino Red, Tobihino Purple and Tobihino Dusty (?) something for my records and seed picking purposes.................let me know your thoughts on this coloration.
