Hello! I'm sending another batch out tomorrow. I can't post the list of names because I also opened up the offer to others on another gardening site, so I don't know who is from here and who is from the other seed exchange forum.

I still have lots left if there's any latecomers. These could be thrown in the ground before winter and will pop up next year, or they could be planted in early spring as well.

Sandy, I'm curious - does amaranth like really hot weather? I've tried before with a different kind, and it was pretty pitiful - maybe not hot enough? Have you had better luck with that than, say, dwarf types?

Hi 2zues!

It has done well for me under both conditions. We had an extremely dry hot summer this year but last year a rather cool, dry summer. I neglect them pretty much and they grow up to eight feet tall with bright red stems up to a couple inches thick. Hope this helps!

I sent my envelope 11/05 hope you got it ok

Oh My Gosh Everyone! I'm blushing here with head hung in shame. I JUST found a large stack of mail/magazines etc on the "back" kitchen chair (the one no one EVER uses)....some of it dating back to early October.

If you haven't received your seeds from me yet, I'm betting your sase is mixed in with this pile of mail and paperwork.
