Where did you find the stoppers?

I bought vacuum line to fit the bottle at the auto parts store. I bought metal tubes at Hobby Lobby and bent them.

I would never have thought of that! Thanks for the info

Way cool Tortoisekeeper!!! Can you show an upclose photo of the vacuum line and metal tubes?

I never thought of that either. Good idea!

Hi Cat,
I've been doing alot of spring cleaning in my GH these past few days. Haven't worked on the mini feeders lately. I do want to try painting a few red with the glass paint. Thanks again for another great tip.

Wow! Those prices are unreal!! Lol, that's a big profit for someone :)....even adding bead work.

Sorry it took me so long to post pictures of the metal tube and hose line. I just cut a small piece of line insert into insulin bottle then cut a small piece of metal tube bend and insert it. It forms a vacuum and does not leak. If you but your tongue on it the nectar will come out. The metal tubes come from Hobby Lobby in the section with the train stuff. I think it is a 3pk. I get the smallest one.

Hey, we started a "show us your hummingbird feeders" over on the bird watching forum. Come on over. These home made would be a good addition.
