This shimmery one is for you Emma :)
Japanese MG Heian no Haru

Very femmie pink!
I like it!

The photographs show so much difference in color just between shade and me moving the bloom around to the full sunlight!!! It is a lovely shade and I adore it, it's been blooming it's heart out for the guests to drool over LOL When it's totally shaded, you can't even make out the shimmer
Here is last years photo not the best but you can see the color variations! It wasn't completely open either, but it's so pretty.
Seeds sown this year are from this plant last year, I notice more white edging on these this year but it's growing so nice at work, it must like the spot!
Oh Laurrie,
I LOVE that. So far one of my very favorites.
PLEASE save me a few seeds.
I gotta grow that one next year.
You do good work, Lady.
Emma
I think it's great, hope it sets seeds like it blooms :)
I'm beginning to think it is just too hot here for Japanese mg's. They either don't germinate, or the vines turn brown and crispy before they put out more than a couple of flowers. It is so frustrating for me when I see all these beautiful flowers. The ones that I put in more shade never bloomed at all. Emma, my Lavender Mist had beautiful flowers for a few days, and now the vines are slowly dying. I haven't gotten any seeds yet from anything either. Any suggestions?
