Anyone found Black Gravel

Hello, Gina in Fairfield/Cordelia East Bay SF Area. I have been searching for a store that may carry black gravel with no luck. I like the look of real black dirt, but don't want to pull all the weeds. I have found black mulch but our area is very windy and it blows away. I have also seen black glass gravel on line but again no luck in the local area. Any suggestions?

I live in Humboldt County, about 5 hours north of you, and about 45 minutes from Shelter Cove which is entirely made up of black sand. I don't get out there much, otherwise I'd bring some back for you, but if you ever find yourself with a free weekend, it would be a pretty drive, and you would be able to take home all the black sand/gravel you like for the cost of the gas to get you there!
