Been growing this several years now and almost missed the first bloom this year! all this rain so haven't taken many photos nor looked closely at my vines, but this caught my eye today - yes torn up from all the wind and rain, but still a beauty!

Mine gave me a few blooms in the early summer, then stopped until about a month ago. The vine was pretty whimpy too. Now all of a sudden, it's going crazy and putting out flowers left and right. I just wish it would set some pods now!
It's really strange about setting seed isn't it? Patience, last year I thought for sure I wouldn't have any to grow this year, but finally there they were!
I was real disappointed when my light blue 'Heavenly Blue' and 'Pearly Gates' decided to set seed way late. I was just lacking two weeks to a good harvest of both, when we had our first killing frost. I was SO MAD!
I can well imagine that! here I panic when it's getting near the frost/freeze time!
