About 50 cent piece size, but they are so pretty!!
Ipomoea muelleri
Congratulations(!)...A precedent(!)...the first one that I've seen posted at Daves...nice going Laurrie...I personalyy would be interested to see some sideshots of the corolla including sepals, unopened flower buds, leaves and seedpods if you happen to get around to taking and posting any pictures of those...Thanks for sharing(!)...
There are no photos of this species documented in the database yet...although,there are two entries for the same exact species in the database...why,I do not know

hmmm one calls it Poison Morning glory whereas the other does not, which one would you suggest I add my 2 cents worth to???
I will take all the shots you want and add to database, I just happened to see that good shot the other day. Here I also had the leaf in this one.
will take more photos in morning if it's in bloom or bud!
Laurrie
ps - let me know which link above you think I should post photos and info to please.

o wow okay adding this to my wish list. look at the color.
congrats on a pretty flower
Ohio Breeze,
Where did you find the seed for this beauty?
Thank you.
A friend in SC shared it with me nearly 3 years ago.
Laurie, those are beautiful..
I got my seeds at JLHudson here in CA. These are a small MG and I really like them, all of the seeds this company sends out germinate quite well in case anyone wants to know. Will take photos of mine later on this week, the first blooms have already dried out and it seems that in this heat the blooms are stretching like two weeks apart.
How far apart time period wise from bloom to bloom on your plants?
right now it's just starting here in my area to get blooms on any of my MG's but this one is giving me blooms so far nearly every day, but keep in mind our heat is not as stifiling as yours is there.
JL Hudson, yes I had gotten seeds from them before with no complaints!
Laurrie
Thank you Laurrie,
I love your photos of all your MGs.. mine are not doing so well here, maybe later when the heat dies down they will decide to open or do something. Thanks for the info on the muelleri, gives me hope that mine will bloom some more.
Yes, it must be the heat, I think too when it cools down you'll see blooms for often :)
Glad to hear someone else growing it, it is smaller than normal but oh the pretty color!
