urea is, at its most basic level, just urine.

trackinsand I got three packages from 3 different DG'er last fall, Robbie, Debbie and Patty. What I have were labeled as Purple, Red and Green. I planted some of all of them. They have done wonderful. Everyone I planted came up to. This year I am going to start them in the house about Mar. I had them planted to close, when I plant seeds in the ground I never know for sure which seed will come up and which ones won't. So I figure if I get them to close I can always pull some up. But after they started growing they were so pretty I hated to pull and after they got about 3 ft. tall I decided I better do something. By that time there was no pulling of them, they had to be dug up. So that is why I am going to start in the house and I shouldn't have that problem next year. The ones I dug up I transplanted someplace else or gave them to my BIL, when you transplant something that tall, it really slows down there growth. My garden area has a lot of sand in it. It use to be a Emu pen at one time. Good ground. But when we dug the Castors up couldn't keep enough dirt on the roots to help keep the plant from going into shock. I even used some Peters transplant liquid and still didn't help.

If you want some seeds let me know about the middle of October and I will be able to send some to you. With as many plants as I have I know I will have more then enough. I picked a bloom one day, let it dry out and then opened one pod and there were 3 seeds in each one. I think there were about 15 pods on the bloom.
