Mystery Vine

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

A friend of mine has been telling me about a vine she has growing up in her roses. It is very dainty with really pretty with white trumpet shaped blooms. Here is a pic of it and I'm hoping someone can help us out. Anyone have any ideas?

And here is a pic of the leaf shape. Leaves are about 2-3" long and the blooms are a little more than 3" long.

Your friend has a Calystegia and I hope she really(!) likes it,because there is a reason that people call it the "Weed from Hell"...

Thanks so much Ron for your knowledge. Oh my....well now we (she) knows what it is. LOL She does love it, but I'm not sure how much she loved it now after reading what everyone has to say about it on PlantFiles. Thanks again!

I grow this vine in a container and the blooms are just beautiful - I'm keepin' mine!

How big of a container do you need? I love the plant, basically a perennial morning glory, I live in a second floor apartment so it's not going to take over my yard, and I know several spots where it grows, so I can get starters/seeds.

Mine is growing in a 10" pot.
