Well, it finally happened. As I was running with my dog (on her leash!) last night the mix that always threatens us finally attacked.
The owner was standing in the yard and maybe that is what provoked her. Anyway, she flew over and jumped my dog and I used my 'Dog Beater.' It's a part for a boat I found for a dollar. It's like a baton - metal with rubber ends. I hit the dog 4 or so times on the head and she finally backed off. Broke the end of it off in the process. The owner wasn't mad at me, she told me GOOD, she needed that. That's the only time I've EVER hit a dog with an object like that. I hated I was put in that position!
In my opinion what she really needs is to be in a fence!!! Leash laws leash laws leash laws!!!!! I heed them! We have them! They are a good thing.
