Sylvia, your cuttings that you are rooting are either Epiphyllum hybrids or Epiphyllum oxypetalum. Your plant that you posted above is Epiphyllum strictum, also called Epiphyllum hookeri. Here's a link which shows some of the different species: http://www.ecology.org/orchids/index5.html#Epis
