please tell me that I wont be sorry that I bought this plant! I looked it up on the web after getting it home and some states consider it a nuisance or invasive. Any one in zone 5 have one? Thanks, Jill
Tamerix ramosissima 'Summer Glow', help!
Your right all the info I read said it can become invasive. However, I believe it is in the warmer climates. Mine grows in zone 5 for the last 8 years. I've not had it do anything but grow bloom and go dormant for the winter. No suckering or seedlings all over. Give it a try and just be watchful. Zone 5 on the east coast is so different from zone 5 on the west coast so just keep an eye on your plant.
Cool! Thanks Mgarr! Yours looks quite large, now I just need to decide where to palnt it. Thanks for the info and the pic! Jill
