Is this Heavenly Blue? My all time favorite ; she is so hard to beat for size and clear blue. Your picture is great.

Thats its color. I am no pro with this camara stuff..lucky I could figure out how to post. I think the color came out well cuz it's kindof foggy here today. These are my first morning glories...I think I will have to try to save seeds for next year :)

There really is a difference in blue in both your photographs. They are both so beautiful.

What a fantastic blue-within-blue color, Breeze03! Wow!!

breeze03 - the flower you posted 'spells' I.hederacea to me,but I would like to see a picture of the side of the bloom showing the sepals near the base, the leaves, unopened flower buds,or seedpods and I could tell you for sure...nice dark blue pastel color...I don't see any of the reflective particles that can sometimes be present in these flowers,... I like both the reflective and non-reflective types...

Long workdays but I will try to post another pic as soon as I can get one in the daylight. :)

Hello,
Breeze03 sent me an e-mail with a picture showing the sepals at the base of the outside of the flower

http://davesgarden.com/mail/pmailpic.php?pid=236800

and I can confirm that this is Ipomoea hederacea, for those people who may be interested to know the exact species of the flower she posted at the start of this thread...
I would like to suggest that those people interested in telling the difference between Ipomoea hederacea and Ipomoea nil take a close look at this picture...
