Thank you ....... it is such a relief to know what to expect.

I'm sorry I posted "congratulations to you" as an edit to my above posting. I was so busy studying what you had to say it didn't hit me until the my second time round reading it what you meant by

I know as I just got my" do not return" notice from the Cross.
What wonderful news!!! Ü

(((Hugs))) are truly a basic need and one of the best medicines available....definitely should be handed out many times a day! Thank you Ann! Ü

Pam, sorry to hear about your Dad. My old housemate's mother was diagnosed with lung cancer about 4 years ago, did the treatments and it all went away. (But Alzheimer's set in so it wasn't much of a win.)

Thanks Ginny and Darius....I do think he has a pretty good chance (it was caught very early and it isn't one of the more dangerous fast moving ones). Thank goodness his mind is fine (not as quick as it once was but still working pretty good....his understanding of maths, sciences and puters is still way above mine).

It was how the treatment would effect him that really had me concerned (at his age I worry). And of course hoping that this round will be all he needs.
