It's that time again, the Annual Fall Conference of the Appalachian Heirloom Seed Conservancy on October 21-23. Bill Best has made the Sustainable Mountain Agriculture Center, in Berea, Kentucky, available again this year.
Fees are $5 for members (pre-registration) & $15 each for non-members.
Further details are available at KentuckySeeds@hotmail.com or contact me via Dmail with questions. If there's enough interest I can post the ASHC Conference Pre-registration Form (with Dave's permission, of course).
I attended last year and had a great time, met lots of fellow gardeners, as well as DGer's (it's where I met Gary Millwood and his lovely wife). Most members will unselfishly share heirloom seeds from the Applachian Mountain's area. Hopefully, Bill Best can be persuaded to give another tour of his impressive farm. It's well the conference fee alone.
If it's not too far to drive, please plan on attending! ☺
