This picture is a great one to post on bug guide for id. I love this little prissy critter. There was two of them hanging out together on a brug leaf. I never saw them again. In 2 or 3 years no one has ever been able to id this bug for me. She probably spreads an awful disease of some kind. lol!
Fru Fru bug
I can't make out what it looks like Vee except for the mothy part around it's body??
I have one more pic but its not any better than the other two. Daddurn it! Maybe nobody can see these pictures well enough to id it and that's why it has taken so long. I'll probably never see one again in my lifetime. lol!
Have you tried the Identification Forum? They usually can come up with an answer for me.
Edited to say, you have a great camera. What is it? I can't get good close ups, but then it may be operator error.

I only know about the bug guide site that Gita and Kin pointed out. I tried 2 times to post fru fru there and never have been able to view the picture I used. I thought maybe it was so bad that it was frazzed but I didn't find it there either. Later in the week I will try to figure out what I did wrong.
Is there another bug id place?
Thank you Linda. My camera is a pain in the butt because it takes crappy distance pictures. I'd love to get a new one but I'm totally attached to this one. Ellis bought it for me back in 99 or 2000.

By all means, keep it for the close-ups, they're great. You can get another for 'all-purpose' etc. They've gotten so reasonable. I had a Nikon 2100, it was/is good for general photography. I dropped it and the case cracked. It still works, but I didn't like the crack. I think it was around $200 when I got it 2 years ago. I got another, Nikon 4100 and it serves me well, but I can't take as close up as I would like (again, it may be operator error). It was around $200 this year and the 2100 now goes for about $100.
The Identification Forum is a good place for 'unknowns' (plants, bugs etc). Some real detectives on there and they usually come up with an answer. As for posting problems, can't help you with that.
Girl I could just hug your neck til your head popped! rofl! Incredible! That's FRU FRU!!!!!
Thank you soooooooo much! Boy wouldn't I love to have that camera!
The message above is meant for jazzpunkin. She was able to id my frufru bug! Thank you again jazzpunkin. Now I will see what I can learn about it.
rofl ... Jazz what was the real name of fru fru again? I didn't get it copied before you had to delete your post. ...ooops!
MsV post the pics on Butterfly Forum. Kennedyh is a wiz at identifying bugs
Hi Donna! Are you out there doing backflips and summersaults yet? Are you feeling better? Thanks for the butterfly forum tip!
I found the bug guide info Jazz sent to me about this bug. This is a link that tells all about this Planthopper nymph that chews on leaves. No threat to brugs. They don't live in huge groups or do noticeable damage.

Thanks again Jazz. I believe it helped me to id two brug bug pictures. This moth is most likely the adult. Pretty little thing.
I think leafhoppers are cute.. to bad they cause probems most of the time
I will list the site I found later.. My aol is acting up
Oh and you are most welcome :) Here is the site
