When is the best time to take cuttings? Hard or soft wood? Root in water or peat or what?
Thanks Mitch
Oleander
Oreander is extremly poison. Don't burn it either because the smoke can kill too.
Now that I've said that, carry on with great care.

Read that you can cut approx 6inch tip, remove most leaves, and root in either water or a rooting medium and mist often. Do not allow to dry out. Haven't tried it myself.
Thanks will get them started - Mitch
I root mine in potting soil. They root easily. I don't mist mine but keep a plastic bag with a couple holes in it over the pot for a couple weeks. Should root within a month or 6 weeks.
Even better - Thanks
They are one of the easiest to root in any medium including water with or without mist. If you cut a bouquet of flowers and forget them they will form roots in the vase. Al
But I have found them to be such slow growers unless I am doing something wrong. I have had one for over a year now and it is only about 18 inches tall. How old do they have to be before they bloom?
