My Judy, your brug is sure a looker but tell me about those red cherries. I didn't know you could grow cherries in your zone. Those sure look good.

She is beautiful Judy! Such a nice soft pink.

Very pretty Judy, Jeanette

Campbell River, BC(Zone 8a)

That's really beautiful. I have one but it's only had a couple of blooms at a time so far. I wish it was a bit shorter. The blooms are a foot or two above my head.

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

Sweet Isabella! She is the poster child for great preformers. Very beautiful Judy!

Mifflintown, PA(Zone 6a)

Thats a beauty. Dixie

Kell, cherries are a huge business in Michigan...we even have a festival up in Traverse City..If you ever head up that way you will see miles and miles of cherries trees..Do you grow cherries out in California?...I thought cherry trees had to have a dormant time.....go figure..thats whats great about the internet we find out things we didnt know before...Judy

Dundee, OH(Zone 5b)

Judy.........is that a varigated brug I see on the left side of photo???? share with us please, love the leaves.

Muskegon, MI(Zone 5a)

Its my snowbank....I havent been very happy with it but it seems to be perking up this year..must be where I have put it..I did see a small stem popping up on the bottom of the main stem..it actually looks better then the main stem....I need to find more people who grow it to give me some advice....Judy

she looks good Judy. I got a little squirt from WSG this summer and planted it in ground. Until the ones on the side shot up and gave it shade it wasn't real happy. Guess she's got too much white to be good in sun but now the little goof is leaning out 'towards' more light. sheesh! I'm hoping this was a cut from above the Y and not a tissue culture so maybe I'll get blooms this year.

Muskegon, MI(Zone 5a)

Well Im hoping the same thing since mine looks like it Yed but who knows with this one...the bottom sucker looks better then the whole plant....Ive cussed at this plant more then any other one Ive ever had.....Judy

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

Judy, it's a pretty brug, funny how they grow differently in diff parts of the states, mine is alot darker pink than yours is. But man oh man, would you just look at those cherries. Sorry, but that was the first thing that caught my eye, is that your neighbors tree. I'd be sneaking out at dark 30 and pickin those things. Yum, my favorite.

Snowbanks leaves are just so striking. Hard not to love her.

I had no clue that cherries grew where it is cold. Do all fruit trees? Like peaches? I guess apples do. Blaine was growing some fruit tree I think. I must have been deprived where I grew up in NJ. No fruit trees around my house.

When I first moved into my house, the neighbor had a tree that had so many cherries on it I couldn't believe it. Sold me on California!! I was dyed red head to toe.

Muskegon, MI(Zone 5a)

Kell, Michigan has all the fruit trees you named...and the cherry trees are mine..I planted them a very long time ago..they were suppose to be dwarf but they are really big now...there are 2 of them and in the spring they are beautiful...I get so many different kinds of birds for just the amount of time that they bloom and I never see them again until the next year...and I hate to say this but I dont even eat them anymore...its ashame isnt it..come on over and pick all you want..lol...
and KathyAnn I got this brug from a list owner of a yahoo group...I asked her the same thing about the isabella and she told me she was told it was an isabella.....and you can come with Kell to pick to your hearts content....lol..Judy

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

I was given an Isabella cutting last year, but lost her over the winter. If that's what she looks like, I guess I'm going to have to get another one. I thought that she was a little darker pink than that. I love the pale pink ones, but haven't had one bloom pale pink yet. Every pink one that I've had bloom, all seem to bloom the same color pink - a medium peach pink.

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

Man, I wish I could, I'd be eating faster than I could fill the bucket

Muskegon, MI(Zone 5a)

KathyAnn..do you know the meaning of running to the toilet all the time?...lolol...

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

Minniegrannie Isabella has different looks for pratically every temp. She can even have different pinks that never change on the same tree. Sometimes she recurves so strongly you can hardly believe it is the same Isabella. She definitely isn't boring that's for sure.

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

LOL, They don't really affect me that way, for some reason, I've been dieting like crazy, and cherries are my one special thing right now that i'll indulge in. and one time I literally ate l l/2 pounds of them at one time. They didn't bother me at all LOL. I don't think it did my diet any good though

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

I think I'll try Isabella and see how she blooms for me. I love the pinks, but I'd sure like to find one that blooms a little different color pink.

Muskegon, MI(Zone 5a)

Did you know that cherry juice is a very good thing for arthritis..Up in Traverse City area they sell it in concentrated form..it really works if you can get past the citric acid..it bothered my husband me...

Plumiedelphia, PA(Zone 7a)

Isabella is one of my favorites as the scent isnt overpowering. I have severe asthma and am able to enjoy this one. I also have
Jesse Noel, Valley Peach, B. Insignus, Frosty Pink, Equador Pink, Candida double white, Enchanted double white, MIlk N Honey, Charles Grimaldi and a couple of really nice seedlings as well. The Frosty Pink and B. Insignus just about put me in the ER with thier overpowering intoxicating fragrance. I love it but I gotta breathe!! LOL! 8D

Muskegon, MI(Zone 5a)

Michael, I have to agree that isabella isnt a strong scented brug...now charles grimaldi was my first brug and the scent was so strong and I loved it..the whole neighborhood was smelling like brugs...Judy

Plumiedelphia, PA(Zone 7a)

I have just identified Isabellas scent too,
A very mild soapy fragrance.
Sweet but not overpowering
I am able to stick my size 13 nose up in there and take a sniff! lol!!

My valley Peach Bloomed for the first time tonight.
She is a first year cutting, not a real fast grower but not dissapointing either.
Her scent is mild and sweet, Reminds me of Bubble Gum!!!
The flowers are a little leather like but this is her first year so ill give her a pass on scent and growth habit! ;)
I look forward to Charles Grimaldis blooms probably next year.
He has spent the year growing back from an accidental and severe cutting.
I guess about 5 foot so far, not too bad huh?
Blooms will follow, perhaps in my basement lol!!
I convert my basement into a greenhouse every winter, I hate to letem all go dormant.
This also allows me to force growth and shape the brugs whilst taking plenty of cuttings as well. ;)
Here are some pics to enjoy. ;)
