Malestrom wrote: I have just identified Isabellas scent too, A very mild soapy fragrance. Sweet but not overpowering I am able to stick my size 13 nose up in there and take a sniff! lol!! My valley Peach Bloomed for the first time tonight. She is a first year cutting, not a real fast grower but not dissapointing either. Her scent is mild and sweet, Reminds me of Bubble Gum!!! The flowers are a little leather like but this is her first year so ill give her a pass on scent and growth habit! ;) I look forward to Charles Grimaldis blooms probably next year. He has spent the year growing back from an accidental and severe cutting. I guess about 5 foot so far, not too bad huh? Blooms will follow, perhaps in my basement lol!! I convert my basement into a greenhouse every winter, I hate to letem all go dormant. This also allows me to force growth and shape the brugs whilst taking plenty of cuttings as well. ;) Here are some pics to enjoy. ;) |
