Grocery Store Compost

I dont know if anyone is a dumb as I am for even buying compost from a grocery store, but it was cheap and I was in a hurry to lay down a lasagna garden. It was infested with German Cockroaches!! DO NOT buy from this company:

Yes, it does. We have to have Clark out to do the whole property. I wish I could get the store to pay for it, but they say there is no proof the roaches came from them . Ha!

Rachel, you may want to call Stanislaus County on Monday and report that also. They would REALLY be interested that Sav-Mart didin't want to do anything about it. Sick the Agriculture inspectors on them (or perhaps the food industry inspectors....maybe BOTH)! Can you imagine what that store looks like after dark????? I bet the floor MOVES all by itself......eeeeewww!!! I'm stickin' to O'briens!!!!!! (for those of you who don't live here, it's a locally owned small grocery chain)
