corkscrew vine is budding nicely

Freedom, PA(Zone 6a)

I started a few seeds this winter and mine are starting to bud now. My problem is Mites, I had it close to one of my brugs and now my corkscrew plant has mites also. I started spraying it with neem oil, I hope it works, I also spray it down with the hose everytime I water it. This is the first year I grew this plant and I can't wait to smell the blooms. I am hoping to winter it over in my house this winter if I can get rid of the mites.

Aren't ants supposed to be good for them? Like they help pollinate them? Or is that the snail vine? Or did I just make that up entirely? LOL Sometimes I can't tell the difference between what I've read and what I've imagined.

LOL, I told you they looked chewed! Little buggers. I hate them so much. I know they are the only thing that pollinates the corkscrew & the snail vine, but I am to the point that I think seeds are highly over rated...HA
Mine is starting its growth spurt. Everyday I am pulling vines back through the fence. Have you noticed an increase since your temps have been high?
NoH20, too funny. I thought I was the only one that did that.

PudgyMudpies, you didn't read it here. I think you just imagined you did. LOL

I guess I will live with them, since I don't think they have gotten to too many yet, and it's loaded, well it was last night yet LOL

ONE ant so far, bet they will come by the hundreds as they near opening!

Stockton, CA(Zone 9a)

By the hundreds is an understatement. You are gonna have ants all over your porch. You should have smashed him, he was probably a scout...
LOL, NoH20
