I bought 3 different Orienpets in aknapps Bloomingbulbs co-op last fall. I got one each of American Spirit, American Style and American Dream. This is what American Spirit is supposed to look like:

And this is what mine looks like. It is similar but I am not sure it is the same bulb.
My labels didn't survive the winter so I am not sure which bulb is American Dream and which bulb is American Style. I don't think either of them look like American Style but neither completely matches the description of American Dream.

This is my bloom that I think could be American Dream
And this is my last bloom. It definitely doesn't look like American Style. In some ways it looks similar to the Bloomingbulb picture of American Dream but not the Jung Seed picture of American Dream.

I feel so frustrated trying to ID these. I am going to contact Bloomingbulb about it. I just wondered if any of you lily experts (and you know who you are LOL) had any suggestions.

I'm not sure I'm going to be much help. I had some questionable id's too. My American Spirit did look just like your photo, but I got it from bloomingdales also. I think your second one is American Style and your third one American Dreams. I think the photos at this link are the most accurate, since they are from the people that hybridized the American Series lilies.

I'm sure that temperature, soil and light can all effect the color some. Also, these photos may have been taken in a greenhouse where the colors may have been more vivid.

Hi, Susan. I think you are right that my second one is American Style. It matches the description although it doesn't look anything like their picture.
I think the first one is American Spirit but it doesn't match the description either: Creamy white petals, recurved, center star of red filled with gold.
I know photos can look different due to lighting, camera, etc. but I think there may have been some photoshopping going on.
I guess I will talk to Bloomingbulb about it.
