Oh Emily so nice. I just cant imagine all those blooms.

Simply Beautiful Emily!!
That is really impressive. Brugs really seem to like our climate in this part of Oregon. I believe it's due to our warm (lately Hot) days and cool nights. Oh and Yes also the person who cares for them....LOL

I decided to try pollinating a couple of the blooms with some salmon versicolor pollen. I'm not sure it will work, but worth a try. I found direction on another site and just used a new q-tip for each flower. With so much pollen on the CG, how will it recognize pollen from a different plant? The flowers I chose to pollinate had just opened yesterday. Any advice?

Not from me! I'm a newbie at pollinating myself! I just went out and bought some decent sized watercolor brushes (they came in a set of 12 for $1.59). I think the brush I was using before was too big - I don't think the last two I did, took.

Such a great CG picture. Yes Kin, I agree, they like the cool nights.

I just bought tons of brushes at Michaels (Crafts). I got 20 on a card for I think $1.99 and some different ones for 15 for a $1. I use the ones for kids. K mart used to carry some too that I liked that were cheap. I cut half of the brush part off so they are stiffer, the tops. I am always leaving them in bleach too long and it eats the bristles away.

Once you get a pod, you guys, you will be hooked!! It is so much fun.

that's where I got my brushes Kell - Kmart. I was there stocking up on shampoo, etc... (only place I'll buy that stuff anymore) and remembered to get brushes. They were in the aisle where you see all the crayons and construction paper.

That last shot is.. as they say... The BomB!
