Hi Anna:
Now I see why you could see a water feature in my future herb garden With my mutts water is play time and any thing I put in would have to look like a fort with dog-proof walls.
Fred
oh no way! you could have a dog friendly one i have done them for people b4, a multi tier bowl setup with the bottom bowl for the dogs to drink from, keeps the water fresh for them:) and you can plant the top bowl
Something that could stand up to two hundred pound dogs wrestling to see who gets first? Thanks but my yard budget has to sneak under my partner's radar and on a fixed income I can't get away with a lot. Mostly what I do is plan and then change the plan to adapt to whatever comes along makes for a lot of chaos and what I call an "American Eclectic Scrounge Garden."
Fred
lol!
Our lab is the same way. I'm hoping to keep him out of the Koi pond when I get it set up by keeping a Walmart plastic kiddie pool filled on the back patio for him! 110 pounds of happy, wet hunting dog! LOL

Looks like I may be able to go to this roundup afterall!! I live in south Sacramento and was wondering if there is anyone from Sacramento that would like to carpool out to this roundup. The date is September 10, but was there a time posted that I missed??? If the 100 plus temperatures drop, I"ll do some yardwork this weekend to pot up my excess plants. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
Great! I will add your name to the list, and if you can, let me know how many people will attend with you.
The park will be nicely shaded, so I'm sure it will be comfortable. :~)
And everyone that has not told me how many will be attending with you, please do so. I need to know how much space to reserve.
