OB, my Cool Blush is a nodding flower, it doesn't hang down. Here is some I took this morning. In the pic at the top left corner is from last year...the other three are from this morning. I'll have to take a pic of full bloom tonight but as you can see it's very blush and I can see how it was named. It's been very humid and sweltering hot so I don't know if it will get alot more darker than this...we'll see. Now I have to find my 'Cupids Blush'...lol..Brinda your's is gorgeous!

OB, is the bloom smaller, like maybe 1/3 the size, of your other Brugs??

Hey it's 3 J's Julie - JoAnn & Judy!!!!!!! LOL

It does smell very nice, but just got home from work and hardly any scent today at least not like last night and early this morning. It hasn't darkened much that I can tell and still I love it.

It seems a little "droopy" now, not quite standing out as far as it was earlier today, temps are at 86 right now. color seems pretty much the same, perhaps a smidgen darker

The flower size is 9 inches across, with the tip to end measuring 10 inches, so I guess I would call it average in size, but this is my first bloom this year, so I can't judge yet.

I love the ones with 6 points, she is so sweet and pretty, and her leaves are so green, what a healthy, nice brug!! Easy to see she's been treated right...

I am thrilled with her! she is looking a little wilted right now, but want to see what happens yet tonight. I am still in search of it's true ID if it's in fact not Blush

Well I did find this:

still looking a little more

The fragrance seems to gain strength as the sun goes down and when the sun comes up it starts fading until nightfall so she can do it all over again.

Thanks, I didn't pay as much attention to mine last year to know.

I have only found that one photo and I think it's a perfect match to mine. so Blush it is!!

I must write ShirleyMD to find out if she knows parentage

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Not sure, but I think it's an Eric Knight hybrid.

Gorgeous pictues of your "Blush". She's really blooming up a storm for you!! Good job!!

I just sent you an e-mail, but here is a picture of the "Blush" that I grew a couple of years ago that is in the DGPlantFile. http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/57413/index.html

I'm trying to find out the parentage of "Blush", but I hit roadblocks when I tried a few years back. Still trying.....
