I am so excited - I found buds!! Just teeny right now, but buds all the same on my Blush brug. This will be the first one this year for me as well as since our flooding. I wanted to post so I could keep track of it as well as thank all you wonderful DGers who got me started again after I was wiped out.

Thats wonderful news Laurrie!!!!! I can't wait to see pics of your flowers blooming! I, too, have to join you in your excitement, I have some buds too! This will be my 3rd flush of Summer. I tell ya, I can't wait for Fall now LOL....this heat is killing me here along with humidity raising the temps even higher. It's miserable to just walk the dog!

my goodness! these little babies are growing so fast! I had one that something tried to eat, so I didn't take that pic, but here is one that is 3/4 inch long or so, I will try to remember to sneak out weekly to snap pics to watch the progress here. This is Blush.
Ohio I am so happy for you, and beleive me you will be taking pictures more than once a week, I go out several times a day and always take my camera.
BrugAddict, it is like that here also, never known Indiana to be this hot and humid in the 90s with 80% humidity, I feel like a fireman, constantly have the water hose in hand.
I have to admit, my camera doesn't leave my side LOL
we are to hit the 100 mark today, watered everything well this morning and so far so good, had me worried but I think all will be just fine.
ok today 27th, and look at the size of the bud already!!! over 2 inches, they are growing like weeds!!!
Amazing how good your brug looks and everything else behind it in 100 degree weather. I do not know how you all can stand it.

we definitely have hit a cool spell - lots of rain and thunderstorms and I was so worried with all the winds that the brugs would be bent over and split! Haven't been outside this morning yet, it's so foggy I dont' think I could see the bruggies. Our temps are to be 94°/67°F today and tonight. Much better!

they all survived last night's storm and todays temps, I think I can see them grow daily now!
I promise to try and keep posting photos as they progress, I am always asking myself "ok, now how long from bud till bloom" and this is a way for me to keep track of the progress.
I can't wait to smell each and every one of them this year :)

Congratulations! Is it Jackie Brock's Blush? It was one of the very first USA hybrids to be created by someone other than Kyle or NHE or Logees.
Vicki is this Jackie Brock's Blush the same as the Cupids Blush or Blush? I think there's both right?
I don't know if she has two of them or if she changed the name along the way. The only one I know about is her Blush from 1998 or 99. It was one of the very first pinks.
My guess on when it will open - Tomorrow night!!!
