I like the bicolor, kell keep us posted on its next flush to see if it stays the same. :-)
Wouldn't this one be fun if it stayed this color???
Thanks, re my cousin's Eclectus Parrot babies. My cousin was into bird rescue, exclusively, for many years, then fell in love with the eclectus, an endangered species, and breeds a limited number each year. He still does rescue, but the rescue birds, of course, remain totally separated from the eclectus babies. I 'think' there are two babies, per hatching. And, there can be two reds in a nest, or two greens in a nest, or a red and a green, hatched in the same nest, by the same parents. They are very smart, very talkative birds and develop quite a vocabulary, with precious personalities, as well as being a considerable responsibility, as are most all caged birds. My cockateil lived to 19 1/2. Thank you all for your interest, I think they are just precious as well as being beautiful...they are entertaining and so much fun...

Kell, I like your bicolor. Did you take a picture of your double pink??? I bet you are in Pepto Pink Heaven!
How much do those birdies cost Sherry? They are so adorable it would be hard to leave one behind and not take it home. Though I could imagine Tom's face if I dared to take one home, and that would stop me dead in my needy tracts.
My picture of my unmurdered double of my own did not come out well. So I am stuck showing you the bloom I murdered to get its pollen. LOL. Maybe we will have an ugly bloom contest soon and I can enter it. But you can see the color if nothing else in this pic. This picture was not meant for sharing. LOL
You know, Kell, I don't have a clue how much they cost, but I would think they are expensive. He hand raises them and the new owners pick the babies up, and become well acquainted before they leave. I almost took a rescue eclectus that was 7 1/2 and very sweet and well behaved but my barn is already crowded, so I'm having to wait, but one day I will have one.
I love the second bloom today, I love white, especially if they smell good/loud, and that one is creamy and dreamy!!
