I took a closer look at what I thought was a MG (not sure which one) growing next to my shed and lo and behold, the stems have "teeth" or thorns. I have never seen anything like this before and I'm hoping some one can tell me if I have a mutation or what. Maybe the rose bush and the MG were fooling around! LOL
Sabertooth MG?
Another view - ignore the Grecian Rose leaves in the lower right.

did you by chance plant lavendar moonvines?? these have thorns and so does brazillian mgs.
Hmmmm...I remember starting some kind of moonvine but I didn't plant any here. I've got some Brazilian MGs but they have red fuzzy stems. I'd love for it to be a moonvine. Thanks for replying!
