RICHMOND, VA(Zone 7b)

It looks beautiful - You knocked it off?
How are you preserving it?
I've no info on keeping a bloom alive.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Well I forgot to tell you all it was still snow white yesterday! LOL I may call it that. Snow White.

I pollinated it with another brand new white double that opened yesterday. Both have color hopefully in their genes.

Polly, the one I knocked off is a goner. But it has other blooms and buds on the plant. So I was watching them ot turn color. I had meant to take the fallen one home to see how strong the scent became as the evening wore on, but forgot too!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

This one is turning a delightful color.

The inner skirt is all apricot now. The outer is mixed

That is a really nice soft apricot color. Are the skirts gonna stay that close together? I really like how it looks this way. It's an eye catcher for sure!!

RICHMOND, VA(Zone 7b)

That is precious - are both your dbls from creamsickle crosses - and who's the daddy?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Sorry Polly and Kin. I lost track of this thread. So far the skirts have stayed somewhat together. One hasn't dropped way down. Thanks Kin.

Polly, it is a Creamsickle X L'Amour cross. My first seedling of Creamsickle to bloom. Barb had a real looker from Creamsickle bloom too. The other double is from a seed of Monika's. That one is Fandango X Rubirosa.

She got much darker.
