I will bring a cheesecake and will add other things later...
I'll bring a Roasted Red and Sweet Potato Salad. Hanna1, let me know what else you need...any last minute paper goods, etc.
Hanna, you tell me what to bring. Our traveling specialities are:
German Potato Salad
Macaroni Salad (with a twist of chipolte)
Killer Ceviche salsa type dip
Homemade 5 cheese mac and cheese
To die for broccoli rice garlice cheese casserole
Lemme know?
Gosh Lady, it all sounds great, lol, I LOVE potato salad of any kind, Mac w/ a twist, yum, Ceviche salsa is making my mouth water, you decide, just don't make too much, we had so much left over down south!
Annie
I will bring Cole Slaw , baked Beans and a dessert of some sort.
Please let me know if you need any help with eatting utensils or paper goods.
Patricia
jerodsmom, thanks! Ya look on top of the thread, I will need utensils and paper goods, I'm sure someone will come up with some, Annie
Annie, I would be happy to bring some utensils and napkins also.
On the theory that you can never have too many salads, I'll bring either an Asian-style napa cabbage "slaw" or a corn/zucchini salad with green onions. Or both, if I get ambitious. Both are low-fat so they work for vegetarians, those on diets, and people like me who just love salads!
Yum, I love salads like that!!!!! I think from the looks of it, I better lose some weight before this, LOL, cause I will try it all, fantastic!
Annie
I can bring the charcoal and some white wine chardonnay for a toast it thats a good idea.
i would usually do the food but have guests in from England, so i am going to make it easier on myself...
Diane
PS let me know how much charcoal to bring, i have gas powered BBQ so a little unsure.
Sounds great to me!!!! I like chardonay! I would think a large bag of charcoal or 2, what do you BBQ's out there think?
Annie
Great idea...PotEmUp !!! I will PM you with info.! Thanks !!!
The tags are such a great idea!!! Thanks!!!! You're down for plates and bowls,
Anyone else?? Whatcha bringing us?????
Annie
I will chip in some Chardonay also.
How about I make that now famous Sopaipilla Cheesecake from the Recipe Forum? I made it last weekend for a going-away picnic and had many ask for the recipe and I'm making it again tomorrow for a BBQ by request.
Calif_Sue, that sounds wonderful and very yummy !!
I'm drooling!!!!!
Annie
Anyone else, We are getting pretty close here!!!
Annie
I'll bring cups.
Thanks Lily, any more food stuff you guys? We are getting closer!
Annie
I can bring some low-fat deserts for those of us who are weight watching (speaking for myself only) I make no-pudge brownies (comes in a box) LOL. There are a lot of things I can make that are light....not sure if that's going to be fine with everyone. But I'm very flexible...just let me know what you need to fill in.
Lisa
lisamr, glad you can join us, lol!! Whatever you bring is fine!! I'll post it on top soon as you tell me!
Annie
Lisa , I am trying to watch my weight also, so I would love to tray your low fat dessert.
Patricia
I'll bring carrots and fruit--probably watermelon and cantelope depending on what Costco has that day.
Sounds like we all need to bring a big appetite.
Paricia
Looks like we still need hamburger buns. I can bring those too.
Any idea how many we might need?
In case you need to reach me look at the top of this thread! You never know who may get lost!
Take care, see you real soon,
Annie
It looks like we could use more people. Hanna1 put up $250 for the group site, so be sure to bring some money to help cover this cost. Right now I count about 30 people, so that would be about $8 each. Plus a couple of bucks to cover the meat for the barbeque.
Rustle up some neighbors and friends to bring along. ;-}
Thanks for the heads-up George...I'll be sure to bring some $ to help cover costs. I can bring some homemade baked beans (crockpot style)....is anyone making those? lmk...thanks.
