"Blue Silk" Japanese Morning Glory Seed Contest

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

The photo was taken today July 1, at 11:am and it is the seed pod of Japanese Morning Glory "Blue Silk".

This thread is for you to guess when I pick this pod, and who ever is the closest is the winner. In case of a tie the pod will be split between the two....... . It is my discression as to when it is ready and I will pick it then and note the date and time. I will then announce the winner here and on the Morning Glory 2005 thread. This contest is for the whole pod, no matter if it is 4 seed or 6, whats in it goes to the winner or winners............and yes some have 4 seeds I have picked a few that had one........but as you can see this one looks pretty good and fat....
I will take photos after the close date...Unless it is already matured and picked???? could be never know????.....just to keep up the suspense.....LOL and it will be some suspense to......LOL
I love these Games.....

Rules are simple, you have one guess only so think it over and make you best guess....

Good Luck..........

July 16th is my birthday and it's also my litle brothers birthday. Yes we were literally born on the same day exactly 2 years apart, pretty wild eh? I can barely remember it, I had a cake with very cool race cars racing on a track around the candles. Sadly My parents were nowhere to be found but I had plenty of family to share the day with.
I'm going to guess it will need the full days sun to finish ripening so it should be picked at 8:00pm as the sun begins to fall below the horizon.
July 16th at 8:00pm.
I'll be waiting for your email to tell me how many seeds are in MY POD! LOLOL
Thanks friends, JD

I posted this on the MG thread also but wanted to share with everyone here. The plant above is doing great and totally covered the tomato cage and is full of blooms. I wanted to share the first 2 that opened up this am. I am so happy and excited. Thanks again Dee and hopefully, it will set some seeds that I can share also.

Jan, I am just so pleased that the seeds produced so wonderfully for you. The parent vine is now gone but I have lots of seed to start more and to give away more as well.
Thanks so much for sharing with us and what a job..........yipppeee
