First lily this year and I don't think it is what I bought...
Supposed to be 'Agrippa' but I think it looks more like 'Avonlea' from the Lily Garden website...
I know the first year they may not be fully developed. Do you think it will change some.
misidentification?
Lilies flowers should look 'right' even on a new bulb. The first year the stalk may be shorter and you may have less blooms, but they will be better the next year.
I had a wrong bulb this year from Lily Garden, so I sent a pic to them and they responded quickly and offered to replace this fall. They're very nice and helpful.
The agrippa has spots and is supposed to be 'raspberry pink'....White Flower Farm sent the wrong thing....can't say that I am dreadfully upset as it is pretty, but I do like to get what I order. We shall see what the others look like. (There were 3)
