pruning mock orange

Could anybody give me some tips on pruning mock orange? My mom wants me to help her this weekend. I know that they bloom on old wood, but how much do you cut back on the branches that bloomed this year? The thing is just gorgeous, and I don't want to mess it up!! Thanks!
