Well, sometimes with the good stuff, we get some of the stuff we really don't want! We got 5 inches of rain this morning in as many hours, and straight line winds.....ripped some of my plants right out of the ground...tree limbs{big ones} downed in neigbor's yard. But that sweet Ole Sol has been shining since 2 o'clock and there is hardly a cloud in the sky. Back to the garden to harvest more seed.

rain, rain, rain..and straight line winds
Glad to hear there was no serious damage, but sorry about your plants!!
I lived in Texas for 5 years and boy, do I remember those gully-washers you have there. Unbelievable unless you've experienced them !
I understand about that crazy weather. We have had some terrible storms the last couple of days. The temps have been in the upper 90's and the thunder storms just pop up. Tonight we have sever storm warnings in effect with up to 70 mile an hour winds and 2" hail!!! Hope my plants survive! So sorry about yours, hope you were able to replant and save them.
Hi Jody - Saw the warnings for your area. With a bit of luck you will escape the worst of it. We are under a watch, but could do with the rain!!
