I'm 5 hours north of Modesto, but I do have a friend there I visit once in awhile. I'm much closer to Chico, & go near there more often, my brother lives in Magalia. Everyone ought to come north to the mountians & get out of the rat race for a weekend! Bj

I did start one for Northern Cal, I would probably make the one for the mid point as well, lol, a great time was had by all at the S. Cal Roundup!!!

Perhaps we can look at where people are coming from, pick the two who must travel the farthest from the north and south, and find a mid-point. The rest of us are fairly centrally located so it should work, at least in theory.

Cal is so large, why not 3 of them???? LOL, up North we would gather most even up to Oregon and Nevada, maybe even Utah, who knows!!!!!!

Hi..I'm in Roseville...just about 1/2 hour from Sacramento. Not that far from Modesto either. I'm geographically challenged. In my book everything is 1/2 hour LOL Anyhoo...I'm sure Modesto is further than a 1/2 hour from me...LOL I'm going to have to bust out an atlas or something so I can get an idea of all these places...besides it will give me an idea of just exactly where I am located.

There is a really pretty park in Paradise that's only 3 hours from me, of course the Chico people have it easy.
There are some really nice parks in Chico too, come to think of it.
But if it's farther So. we'll see what's happenin round the time of the get to gether. Sounds fun! Bj

I am very much interested in a northern CA roundup too. I don't think we have to worry about not enough plants for trading. I have a bunch of white butterfly ginger that I have to get rid of right now. Fall is a great time to thin out perennials.

Wow. A Northern CA RU would be fun! I'm up on the north coast, but I'm all for a get together of some sort. There are two or three Dave's members in my area, but not many.

It would be great to have a RU here in Chico. Bidwell park is a great place! Ever seen Robin Hood? We've got some of the best parks in the country here!

I agree with you, and I still feel We could do another one around SAC! I'll be there also! So much ground to cover in this long State of ours! Come one, come all to SF area and SAC!
