What am I doing wrong? I planted morning glories from seed and they are still miserable little plants only a few inches high. They've been in the ground long enough to be going strong by now. :(
morning glories
have you fertilized them?
nothing its the weather. mine are down here in whats called sunny south and still havent went anywhere. its the wacky weather thats getting them.
Ours aren't 10" tall yet - I'll go measure later but we have zillions of them from the self seeding mother. Far too many and there out in the sun, which is too hot right now for weeding.
I have fertlized them with bone meal when I planted and alfalfa since then. I planted from seeds in a greenhouse and then transplanted into the ground. We haven't had tons and tons of sun but in the PNW, that is normal for this time of year.
I actually had friends making fun of me for planting what they called invasive weeds. I told them, you wait, these suckers will never turn into that! Perhaps they (plants) overheard me and are paying me back.
