One week and counting....

Well we're here, getting the property ready for the upcoming roundup event that will apparently be a mix of gardeners and chocolate freaks...lol. Our ranch, however humble, is being prepared for a visitation by some of the illustrious chorophyllians and chocoholics from near and afar that make this forum so fun.

hmmm....waxing poetic isn't one of my strengths...lol.

Anyhow, both Pam and I are excited about this and as the days count down to roundup day we're weeding and pruning and deadheading in the hopes that our gardens may be pleasing to all that attend. One week from today we hope that all who attend the roundup with make themselves at home and feel as welcome in our gardens as you do in your own.

I can hardly wait. My daughter and granddaughter would like to come. Granddaughter would particularly like to see the new colt if that is all right? I was in San Diego this week for 8th grade graduation but had to come home to make sure the seeds were all right. They were fine, just spent a number of hours going through them and picking out the bags that had seedlings in them. Tomorrows project. I am planning on bringing some linguica and Swiss sausage if that is OK?

Your progeny is very welcome. However the 'colts' are fillies...lol. The sausages sound Super! We look forward to meeting you and sharing stories of life in SLO county. We both love that area and I did my undergrad work at CalPoly St.LouisNabisco...lol. "Flush twice, it's a long way to Pomona" was spray painted on the bathrooms of Muir Hall back in the 70's when I was there. I thought it was funny then. ...

There is a lovely Hampton Inn closeby if you're not planning on making the drive north in the same day.
