This year is extremely unusual...I've just lived in two areas where tornadoes are more likely to form. In Moose Jaw they have formed on the outskirts, which used to be undeveloped, but now there are a number of new stores/business there. Prior tornadoes would take just throw around the some of the buildings in our fairgrounds but there is more there now.
It's a family company that has the farm at Briercrest......two generations of one family used to farm it for us and they housed pigs and horses in the barn. Now it is just a grain growing farm and no one lives at the homestead anymore. We will be visiting it once the roads are passable and will collect a *lot* of wood. Will prolly also call *Habitat for Humanity* so they can benefit from it's downfall. It was a beautiful huge barn and its' wood will help a number of people.
Batten Down the Hatches Saskatchewan :(
Kudos to you Pam. That's a wonderful thing you are doing.

Thanks Joan......they really belong to my father. He said if the barn was ever blown down that is what we would do. Plough winds have been sighted so that might be what took it down.
