Nice shopping trip Sue! Wow.....you're going to have fun. What is the purple bloom in the lower center of the last pic?

pot city on the patio, too busy to the eyes! They will soon be migrating throughout the garden. Oh and a double white brug there in the center, to keep this thread back on the forum topic! Sorry Candy, kell and I decided we meet here I guess LOL, we are enabling each other and you are right in there among it! Like kell says, all your fault!

Oh so sorry, I thought it was different.....I guess that different angle threw me off! LOL Or maybe I just wasn't paying attention....(I do that quite often) It sure is pretty though!!!

Wonderful shopping trips, I love seeing all the stuff!!!

You made a great haul, Sue. I have to close my eyes now when I go by kangaroo paws. They come in the best colors. I cannot start another plant lust. NO I CAN"T!!! I am starting one on grasses and grass like plants (flax and cordylines) . OH NO!! Say it is not true. Suddenly I am into foliage not flowers.

I got to Norcal at the exact right moment. They were unloading 2 big loads so I got my pick. I got about 14 of these pedestal pots in different sizes and a few other kinds. I have a thing for pedestals. I have about 10 1920s fruit punch bowls with the pedestals. I just love the shape. That and lollipop trees. My brain stutters there. Over and over again.

I bought 2 Phormium tenax 'Evening glow'. I won't even say what I paid for them. I have sucker written in pink across my forehead. But I need them for 2 pedestal urns in the backyard. I have roses in there now and it is so messy. And they are just so PINK. LOL

Some pretty nice urns & globes, as well as some other trinkets. I love the fish stuff...

And I did not buy this, but it was just so cool. I had never seen this before. A tiger fern. Look at the markings.

Oh, I can't find where you mentioned the banana you thought I got but I didn't get that one. I do not really like the red splotched ones. The form is not lush. I got a Red Abyssinian banana, Ensete ventricosum 'Maurelii.' I have wanted this one ever since Candy posted hers last year. See Candy's fault once again. My DH is really going to be upset with her soon.

I did get the Rum Runner Hibiscus and also the Snowfire.

Here is my banana. I love my red banana.

Whoa, great haul for you too! I love that Phormium tenax 'Evening glow', great for adding texture and color. I have been collecting foliage things for a while now, just can't resist it, looks good year round. And that fern is cool, I saw posted on another forum before.
I went back to the HD here in Milpitas, only had hardy hibiscus left in the 5 gal, about 4-5 different ones. I purposely walked in without a cart so I wouldn't be tempted to buy anything. Did you know that you can carry quite a few by carryful hooking your fingers in the pot?!

My big frosty is starting her flush. Such a carefree one for me, it's probably about 9-10 ft high now and thrives on neglect. I know it would be even better if I actually remebered to ferilize and water more often.

That's what I like about 'Frosty Pink' and 'Dr. Seuss' so much. They don't get sprayed, the get whatever water they get, they are fertilized when I remember, and they take care of themselves. I love them for being so self sufficient.

Very needy plants make me cranky and tired. :-)
